Over the past two and half years, I browsed through the Black Expressions book website and came across an author they added named Marek Halter. I for one was glad to see the new range of writers added to their line up to broaden the perspective of their traditional Black market.

Recently, I was recalling a 1981 or 1982 college freshman field trip from Western Michigan University to Chicago, Illinois. The professor who was teaching freshman Art History and Appreciation decided that the classroom slide show was not enough contact with the artist so this male professor booked a bus and we all traveled to see the "Judy Chicago Show".
